Five PS3 Classics That Deserve Another Chance

The PlayStation 3 era produced a remarkable number of memorable exclusives, yet many of them remain stranded on hardware that is increasingly difficult to revisit. Several of these titles deserve modern remakes that would introduce them to players who never owned the console.

Resistance: Fall of Man launched with the PS3 and delivered a gritty alternate-history shooter with inventive weapons and a strong campaign. A remake could restore its tense atmosphere and multiplayer appeal for a new audience.

Killzone 2 pushed the console's hardware with its heavy, tactical gunplay and striking visuals. Its weighty combat and oppressive setting still hold up conceptually and would benefit from modern performance and controls.

inFamous offered a morally flexible open-world superhero story with electricity-based powers. A remake could refine its karma system and traversal while preserving the choices that made it distinctive.

MotorStorm delivered chaotic off-road racing with a festival atmosphere and vehicle variety rarely matched since. Modern physics and online features could make its mud-soaked mayhem shine again.

Puppeteer, a late-generation gem, used theatrical presentation and inventive platforming. Its charm was overlooked on release, and a remake could finally give it the audience it deserved.

Each of these games represents a piece of PlayStation history worth preserving, and remakes would let a new generation experience why they mattered.
