Monster Hunter Rise Joins Netflix Games for Mobile

One of Capcom's best-selling games ever is heading to your phone, and Netflix subscribers won't need to pay a penny extra to hunt.

Monster Hunter Rise is coming to Netflix Games on mobile, marking a significant expansion for the streaming giant's gaming library. The title originally launched on Nintendo Switch in 2021 before arriving on PC and later PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Now mobile players will get their chance to experience the acclaimed action RPG through Netflix's gaming service.

The game puts players in the role of a hunter tasked with defending Kamura Village from a rampaging monster threat known as the Rampage. Players craft weapons and armor from defeated creatures, building their arsenal as they progress through increasingly difficult hunts. The Wirebug mechanic introduced in Rise adds vertical mobility and new combat options that set it apart from earlier entries in the series.
