What Are You Playing This Week?

It is that time again. We share the games keeping us busy, and you do the same in the comments below.

This week, one title has dominated the conversation. A big budget action game that leans hard into spectacle over subtlety. The kind of experience that feels less like a carefully crafted narrative and more like a blockbuster you switch your brain off for. One reader described it as pure video game popcorn movie stuff, and honestly, that sums it up well. Explosions, set pieces, and a pace that never slows down. It is not trying to reinvent anything. It just wants to be fun, and for many of us, it succeeds.

Elsewhere, some of us are still grinding through long RPGs, chipping away at backlog titles we swore we would finish months ago. Others have gone back to comfort games, the ones we replay every year without fail. A few are dabbling in indie releases that slipped under the radar, proving that smaller teams can still deliver memorable moments.

So what about you? Are you chasing the latest blockbuster, revisiting an old favorite, or trying something completely new? Let us know in the comments. We always enjoy seeing the variety of games people are playing, and your picks often end up on our own lists.
